HCRL staff and students present at UCDA design summit

Student designer Matthew Grossman presented his work, “iHeard St. Louis: A case study in data-driven health communication design decisions,” at the University & College Designers Association (UCDA) design education summit in May 2024. Co-authors included Penina Laker, Rachel Garg, Christine Watridge, Alex Koehl, Alexis Marsh, and Matthew Kreuter.

Other work presented at the summit included “Expansive Design: Leveraging 508 compliance and accessibility standards in public health communications” (authors: Alex Koehl, Penina Laker, Christine Watridge, Matthew Kreuter) and “Long COVID Information Service: Leveraging public health & design collaboration for responsive health communication materials” (authors: Christine Watridge, Penina Laker, Charlene Caburnay, Amy McQueen, Mikayla Johnson, Dave Von Nordheim and Matthew Kreuter)
