Please join us in celebrating a few iHeard accomplishments from 2023:
- Survey Success: We surveyed community members about nearly 100 different health claims and health topics this year. From COVID to violence to mammograms, iHeard covered a wide range of health issues affecting St. Louis. We sent over 9,000 surveys and received over 8,000 responses: an incredible 88% response rate! Community members’ high level of engagement makes iHeard possible.
- Top Story of 2023: On August 4th, iHeard distributed an alert on “COVID vaccines and heart problems in young athletes: What are St. Louisans hearing & believing?” The alert has been visited over 700 times on the iHeard site, informing readers there is currently no evidence of an increased risk of cardiac arrest after COVID vaccination.
- Social Media Buzz: An iHeard video shared on social media, “Where can people find local health updates in their community?”, featured Dr. Kenneth Powell from GreaterHealth Pharmacy and Wellness and received 1434 views and 140 likes! Thank you, Dr. Powell!
- Growing Community: Sign-ups for iHeard weekly alerts doubled in 2023! Know someone who would benefit from iHeard information? Forward them this email or share the graphic below!
