Karen Skinner, MPH

Senior Research Program Manager and PhD Student

Karen (she/her/hers) is a Senior Research Program Manager at the Health Communication Research Laboratory, and a PhD student in Public Health Sciences at Washington University. She leads public health projects by collaborating with community organizations to address unmet needs and health disparities. Karen’s role includes project coordination, implementation, analysis, and reporting.

Karen’s research experience spans project management, literature reviews, research management, data analysis, and regulatory expertise. In her prior roles, she led research in epidemiology and health outcomes to support private industry and hospital settings.

Karen likes to spend her free time exploring St. Louis with family and friends.
