Alexis Marsh, LMSW

Senior Research Manager

Alexis (she/her/hers) works as a Research Manager of Health Communication. She manages public health messaging projects that aim to understand and overcome barriers that individuals face in accessing health information. She supervises and trains project staff, coordinates and contributes to research and writing activities, and serves as the primary liaison with community stakeholders.

Alexis is passionate about advancing health literacy and engaging with communities to promote healthier attitudes and behavior. She has experience in qualitative methods and community-based participatory research, program evaluation, and direct-practice social work with youth and families. Before joining the HCRL, Alexis worked for Wyman Center as a Teen Outreach Program (TOP) Specialist, facilitating an evidence-based social, emotional, and health curriculum in the school setting.

Alexis likes to spend her free time trying new teas, reading, and enjoying nature.
