Dr. Niko Verdecias is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Implementation Science Scholar. She conducts research focused on understanding and reducing the presence and impact of unmet social needs on diabetes self-management among marginalized populations. She also leads several COVID-related studies in the HCRL aimed at identifying and addressing misinformation, disinformation, and myths in marginalized communities most affected by the pandemic.
