Becca Nolder

Graduate Research Assistant

Becca (she/her/hers) is an MSW/MPH dual degree student at the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis. At the HCRL, Becca’s responsibilities include enrolling participants in the Fresh Start research study and conducting follow-up surveys with participants.

Becca received her BSW from UMBC (University of Maryland, Baltimore County) in 2018. She has experience in medical social work, discharge planning, and community health from her time as a Peace Corps health volunteer in Benin as a social worker in a long-term care and rehabilitation center in Forest Hill, Maryland. Her current social work studies include a concentration in International Social and Economic Development. Becca is passionate about maternal and neonatal health; in the future, she plans to work in the non-profit sector that addresses maternal and neonatal disparities globally.

Becca likes to spend her free time playing guitar, journaling, and reading.
